Privacy
This page says what happens to information you give this website, and what it collects on its own. It is deliberately short, because the site does little: it has no account to create, no basket, no advertising and no embedded social media.
What you send us
The reservation form asks for your name, phone number and email address, and lets you add the vehicle, the pick-up point, the dates and anything else you want us to know. Nothing on it is collected that we do not need in order to reply to you with a car and a price.
The form is handled by a service that passes the message straight to our inbox. We use one so the website itself holds no database and keeps nothing: there is no store of enquiries on this server to lose.
We do not sell your information, and we do not pass it to anyone outside the people who run the rental.
What the site collects by itself
Google Analytics runs on every page. It sets cookies in your browser and tells us how many people visit, which pages they read, roughly where in the world they are and what brought them here. It is how we know whether the site is working. It does not tell us who you are.
A second count runs alongside it, kept by the people who built this site. It sets no cookie and stores nothing in your browser; it records that a page was read, and where the reader came from, and no more than that.
The company that hosts this site processes the IP address of every request, as any host must, in order to send you the page and to keep the site up.
There is nothing else. The fonts are served from this domain rather than from Google, and there are no maps, no embedded videos, no social media widgets and no advertising trackers.
Turning the analytics off
Google publishes an add-on that switches Analytics off on every site at once, at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Any browser can also refuse cookies from other sites or clear the ones it already has, and most offer a private window that discards them when it closes. Any of that stops the analytics and stops nothing else: the site, and booking a car on it, work the same either way.
Asking us what we hold
Write to us at the email address below and we will tell you what we have that came from you, send you a copy, correct it, or delete it. We will not ask you why.
